ESCG

The European Society of Comparative Gastroenterology (ESCG) is a non profit society for veterinarians specialised or with a great interest in veterinary gastroenterology and part of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine for Companion Animals (ECVIM-CA). www.ecvim-ca.org Main goal of the society is to bring together GI interested veterinarians in Europe and around the world and to connect about our passion. We also organise the ESCG stream of talks (scientific lectures and oral abstracts) and posters at the annual ECVIM-CA congress. www.ecvimcongress.org You can become a member of the ESCG if you are a registered veterinarian by contacting us, ideally during our annual general meeting at the ECVIM-CA congress. This is subject to a membership fee. This membership will give you a discount for the ECVIM-CA congress entry fee. You will also get added to our membership list on the website (which is currently also still under construction) and can then communicate and share information with other members. Veterinarians in post-graduate training (such as Residents of the ECVIM-CA and PhD students) are exempt from the membership fee.

Dear ESCG members, and EuroGut participants,

The ESCG board and EuroGut 2020 organizing committee have been closely following the recent developments of the COVID-19 situation.
Considering health and safety of all participants and their families involved, the ESCG board and organizing committee have decided to cancel this year's EuroGut 2020 meeting in Paris.

The decision was made with heavy heart to not move it to later in the year, as the future development of COVID-19 remains uncertain at this moment.

Refunds of registration fees and hotels fees booked through the organizing committee will be made in the following weeks. If you have not received anything by the second week of April, please reach out to escg.info@gmail.com .

As ESCG board we would like to extend our gratitude to the organizing committee (Marine, Valerie, and Florence) for all their time and efforts already, and to our sponsors (Hills, Ormendes, Idexx, and MP Labo) supporting this meeting.

We're grateful for your patience and understanding of this situation.

We look forward to welcoming you at one of our other future meetings.

Best wishes,

The ESCG board

Our Goal
